About The Position

The Facility Coordinator manages day-to-day facility services that support the efficient operation of Energizer Holdings’ Westlake R&D Center, a laboratory for batteries, flashlights, automotive appearance chemicals, and automotive fragrance products. The role is the primary point of contact for facility-related services and helps maintain a safe, clean, organized, and productive workplace for employees, visitors, and contractors. The coordinator works with external service providers and internal stakeholders, supports workplace services and site activities, manages facility requests, and helps provide a high-quality environment for scientific and technical teams. The position is Monday through Friday on day shift and may require being on call after hours to respond to facility needs.

Requirements

Associate's degree in Facilities Management, Operations, or a related field; equivalent experience is considered.
At least 3 years of experience in facility coordination, office administration, workplace services, or a similar role.
Experience coordinating multiple vendors and service providers.
Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to changing business needs.

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting office, laboratory, technical, or corporate environments.
Knowledge of facility management systems and work order processes.
Experience tracking budgets, invoices, and service contracts.
Familiarity with workplace safety programs and emergency response procedures.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and oversee soft facility services, including janitorial, landscaping, security, shipping and receiving, company store and stockroom, pest control, waste management, environmental reporting, utility management, space planning, beautification and modernization, and other general workplace services.
Serve as the primary liaison between the R&D Center and external soft service providers.
Manage vendor relationships, schedules, service agreements, and performance expectations.
Conduct routine facility inspections to ensure cleanliness, organization, and service quality standards are maintained.
Coordinate conference room setups, catering, visitor accommodations, and site events.
Support employee onboarding by coordinating workspace readiness and facility access requirements.
Manage facility work requests and ensure timely resolution of issues.
Monitor facility service budgets and process vendor invoices as required.
Maintain records related to facility services, vendors, and site operations.
Support safety initiatives and assist with emergency preparedness activities.
Collaborate with site leadership, laboratory personnel, and corporate functions to ensure facility services meet business needs.
Identify opportunities to improve workplace efficiency, employee experience, and service quality.
