Facilities Operations Coordinator

Temple Beth Emeth•Ann Arbor, MI
•Onsite

About The Position

Genesis is seeking a Facilities Operations Coordinator to manage the day-to-day operations of its shared facility, which serves as the spiritual home of Temple Beth Emeth and St. Clare’s Episcopal Church and is also used by renters, community groups, and other building users. The role combines staff supervision, facility coordination, administration, and customer service in a busy environment where different groups may have competing needs. The coordinator works with Genesis staff, congregational leadership, the Genesis Board, renters, volunteers, and the Building Systems Coordinator to keep building operations running smoothly. The position is full-time and salaried, based on-site Monday through Friday, typically from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Occasional evening meetings or weekend responsibilities may be required, not to exceed twice a month. Occasional building emergencies may require an off-hours response, also not to exceed twice a month. The board and supervisors will work to ensure adequate support and avoid on-call responsibilities beyond those times. The expected salary range is $65,000–$75,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Genesis offers medical insurance, paid vacation and sick time, 10 paid holidays annually, and a 403(b) retirement plan with employer and matching contributions.
