About The Position

The Facilities Engineer I supports the maintenance and operation of major fixed-asset equipment throughout the property, helping ensure facilities remain safe, efficient, and fully operational. The role involves hands-on technical work and maintaining property systems and equipment. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–3 years of related experience, OSHA certification, and a clean MVR report. Applicable licenses must be maintained if required; trade certifications are preferred. The role has no supervisory responsibilities and requires effective English communication, basic math skills, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Team members are expected to deliver Caesars Entertainment’s Family-Style Service to guests and colleagues.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of related experience in engineering, maintenance, or a similar field.
• OSHA certification required.
• Must possess and maintain applicable licenses, if required.
• Clean MVR report.
• Must be able to effectively communicate, read, and write in English, including preparing reports, lists, memos, and basic business correspondence.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

• Trade certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders related to the maintenance and operation of major physical and mechanical equipment.
• Maintain working knowledge of property systems, including boilers, chillers, pumps, air handlers, plumbing distribution, fire protection, electrical distribution, motors, electric and pneumatic controls, kitchen and restaurant equipment, mechanical and non-mechanical systems, compressors, refrigeration units, and air-conditioning equipment.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance performed, including work orders, logs, and reports.
• Maintain a safe working environment in compliance with OSHA guidelines.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Chief Engineer or Director of Facility Operations.
• Deliver Caesars Entertainment’s Family-Style Service to guests and team members.
