About The Position

The Facilities & Delivery Associate maintains a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming work environment while supporting company operations through product deliveries and pickups. The role helps ensure the facility meets the company’s standards for cleanliness and appearance, supports employee and visitor well-being, and represents Cleveland Electric Laboratories professionally when transporting time-sensitive products, materials, and documentation among the facility, customers, vendors, suppliers, and other business partners. The position works primarily in a corporate office and light manufacturing environment. Cleaning responsibilities are typically performed 3–4 days per week, with remaining time devoted to scheduled deliveries, pickups, and facility support. Occasional local travel to customer and vendor locations is required.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
Ability to operate company vehicles safely.

Dependable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the workday.

Ability to push and pull carts containing cleaning supplies or materials.
Ability to operate cleaning equipment, including vacuums, mops, and other custodial tools.
Ability to enter and exit company vehicles multiple times throughout delivery routes and safely load and unload products and materials.
Ability to maintain a professional appearance and interact courteously with employees, customers, vendors, and visitors.

Nice To Haves

Previous commercial cleaning, custodial, facilities, or maintenance experience preferred.
Previous delivery, courier, or driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness throughout the corporate facility, including workspaces, offices, conference rooms, restrooms, breakrooms, reception areas, hallways, production support areas, and common spaces.
Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, disinfect, and sanitize assigned areas according to established schedules; empty trash and recycling receptacles and clean high-touch surfaces.
Restock restroom and kitchen supplies, and keep breakrooms and employee common areas clean and organized.
Monitor facility conditions and report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and repair needs to management.
Assist with seasonal cleaning, periodic deep cleaning, facility organization, and cleaning-supply inventory.
Prepare conference rooms and common areas for meetings, customer visits, and company events; assist with event setup and cleanup.
Maintain a professional facility appearance for employees, customers, and visitors.
Safely transport products, materials, and documentation to customers, vendors, suppliers, and other company locations as needed.
Pick up incoming materials, parts, or supplies from vendors.
Complete deliveries accurately, professionally, and within required timeframes; verify delivery documentation and maintain accurate delivery records.
Load and unload products while following safe material-handling practices.
Communicate delivery status and delays to appropriate departments.
Keep company vehicles clean and promptly report vehicle maintenance needs.
Represent the company professionally during customer and vendor interactions.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support facility operations and business needs.
