About The Position

RH is seeking a Facilities Associate to execute quality maintenance and housekeeping initiatives for the RH Gallery. Working in close partnership with the Gallery Team, the Facilities Associate ensures maintenance needs are met in accordance with RH standards. The role plans and coordinates facility maintenance and housekeeping activities, oversees repairs and upkeep, maintains equipment, schedules work orders, and supports a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Experience with preventive maintenance and repair.
• Experience identifying and presenting opportunities for process improvement.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Ability to execute and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift and mobilize small to medium items up to 30 pounds using appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Ability to maneuver effectively around the Gallery floor, stock room, and office.
• Ability to perform prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending, and climbing.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate facility maintenance and housekeeping activities to ensure optimum service-level maintenance.
• Oversee repairs and upkeep of the facility, including the building, grounds, systems, and storage structures.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, including forklifts, fans, doors, and dock plates.
• Minimize downtime by prioritizing and scheduling work orders and preventive, reactive, and predictive maintenance.
• Maintain a safe work environment by observing and enforcing OSHA, Food Safety, and HAZMAT requirements.
• Respond quickly to downtime situations affecting production.
