About The Position

The Facilities Coordinator is an on-site role based at Abbott’s Plano, Texas location within the Neuromodulation Division of Medical Devices. Abbott’s Neuromodulation business provides implantable devices and non-opioid therapies for people with chronic pain and movement disorders.

The role coordinates facilities services, suppliers, space, lobby operations, and facilities support for site activities and operational disruptions. The coordinator works with limited direction, handles complex or specialized work, develops sustainable procedures, and may need to work non-standard hours during unplanned events.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Five years of experience in office management or administration.
• Ability to work independently or with little direction.
• Ability to execute complex or highly specialized work.
• Ability to create logical, sustainable SOPs and work instructions.
• Ability to deviate from standards to resolve problems.
• Ability to work non-standard hours during unplanned events.
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, basic SAP navigation, and file management.

Nice To Haves

• Four-year college degree in Business or Management.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison for Level II facilities services, including housekeeping, pest control, vending, supplies, and subscriptions.
• Manage vendors to procure and deliver indirect facilities supplies and services and finalize payment.
• Manage space, including seating assignments, conference rooms, and common areas.
• Oversee facilities guidelines and ensure compliance.
• Manage lobby operations, including security and reception.
• Manage content on common-area video monitors.
• Coordinate facilities support for Abbott events and represent Facilities in EA forums.
• Provide support and solutions during planned shutdowns or unscheduled occurrences that affect site operations.
