About The Position

The Facilities Coordinator II performs advanced general maintenance and equipment repair for the Cedars-Sinai Medical Network across multiple facilities, including Robertson, Wilshire, La Cienega, Cedars-Towers, and other sites as required. The role also coordinates contractor services, supports tenant improvement projects, manages warehouse inventory, provides minor janitorial support, and prepares rooms for meetings and events.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Five to seven years of progressive journeyman-level experience in building maintenance and equipment repair.
• Knowledge of and possession of hand and/or power tools needed to perform routine maintenance operations.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree or college diploma, or graduation from a trade technical school.
• EPA Freon-handling certification, preferred upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair building systems and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing and drains, electrical and lighting systems, furniture, office equipment, and wall coverings such as paint and texture.
• Coordinate and schedule contractor services when work requires outside expertise.
• Coordinate and supervise projects when tenant improvement work is undertaken.
• Assist with the disposition and control of inventory allocated to warehouse storage.
• Provide minor janitorial support as needed for sanitary delivery of clinical services.
• Coordinate room setup and preparation for meetings and other events.
• Assume additional responsibilities as assigned.
