Facilities Coordinator II
About The Position
The Facilities Coordinator II is responsible for advanced-level general maintenance and equipment repair for the Cedars-Sinai Medical Network, serving multiple facilities including Robertson, Wilshire, La Cienega, Cedars-Towers, and other sites as required. The role covers building systems, furnishings, office equipment, and facility upkeep, as well as coordination of contractor services and tenant improvement projects. The coordinator also assists with warehouse inventory, provides minor janitorial support when needed for clinical services, and prepares rooms for meetings and events.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Five to seven years of progressive journeyman-level experience in building maintenance and equipment repair; five years is the stated minimum.
- Knowledge of and possession of the hand and/or power tools necessary to perform routine maintenance operations.
Nice To Haves
- A.A. degree or trade technical school graduate.
- EPA Freon-handling certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide building maintenance and repair, including HVAC system monitoring and repair, plumbing maintenance and drain repair, electrical and lighting system repair, furniture and office equipment repair, and wall-cover repair such as painting and texturing.
- Coordinate and schedule contractor services when work requires outside services.
- Coordinate and supervise projects when tenant improvement work is undertaken.
- Assist with the disposition and control of inventories allocated to warehouse storage.
- Provide minor janitorial support as necessary for the sanitary delivery of clinical services.
- Coordinate room setup and preparation for meetings and other events.
- Assume additional responsibilities as assigned.
