About The Position

The Facilities Associate follows the daily work schedule for the assigned area and performs cleaning and custodial duties throughout the facility. Tasks may include cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming and sweeping floors, emptying and cleaning wastebaskets, and wiping down work areas. This is an essential onsite role requiring regular onsite attendance. The schedule is Monday through Friday, either 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

• Physical ability to perform a full range of cleaning and custodial duties and operate cleaning equipment as required.
• Capable of standing or walking for the entire shift.
• Capable of working with varying cleaning liquids, powders, sprays, and soaps.
• Capable of lifting up to 35 pounds and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds from floor to shoulder height.
• Possible exposure to blood and/or other bodily fluids.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employment-based immigration sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Clean, dust, vacuum, and wash walls, furniture, ceilings, bathrooms, meeting rooms, windows, doors, and associated equipment and fixtures.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and strip all floor surfaces.
• Collect trash and cardboard throughout the facility and transport them to the proper location.
• Replenish supplies such as soap and paper towels.
• Perform additional cleaning services as required.
• Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
