About The Position

The Facilities Associate cleans and maintains Seneca Gaming and Entertainment buildings and premises in a neat and orderly condition. The associate operates equipment as needed and performs minor repairs to buildings or equipment. All duties must be performed in accordance with Seneca Gaming and Entertainment policies and procedures, NIGC Minimum Internal Control Standards, and SGA Tribal Internal Control Standards.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age upon employment.
Must be able to satisfactorily perform the essential duties and responsibilities.
Previous cleaning and/or general maintenance experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

Clean rooms, hallways, restrooms, and other assigned areas.
Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors using brooms, mops, and power cleaning and waxing equipment.
Clean rugs, carpets, drapes, and other assigned items.
Dust furniture and polish metalwork.
Wash walls, tables, windows, and other items.
Move and set up tables, chairs, and equipment.
Help maintain inventory of janitorial supplies and replenish supplies as needed.
Inspect facilities and ensure malfunctioning equipment and appliances are repaired or replaced.
Maintain facilities, including performing repairs such as changing light bulbs.
Clean condensers on cooling units at Gaming and Entertainment facilities.
Keep grounds clean and landscaped, and plow and salt them during winter months.
Complete fire extinguisher inspections in a timely manner.
Complete work orders in a timely manner.
Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
Assist with providing excellent customer service to guests as needed.
Attend departmental meetings and in-services.
Perform other duties as needed.
