About The Position

Boothby Therapy Services is hiring a part-time HyTech Facilitator in Calais, Maine. The role is onsite and school-based, working 15 hours per week across three days. HyTech connects students with licensed therapists and educators through live, interactive virtual sessions. The facilitator provides in-room support to students and helps sessions run smoothly; the position does not involve planning lessons, delivering therapy, or leading classroom instruction. The opening is immediate.

The position is suited to someone who enjoys working with children, is comfortable with computers and video technology, and can provide patient, dependable, and encouraging support. Previous experience with children is preferred, but teaching certification and therapy certification are not required. Candidates must have CHRC clearance or be willing to obtain it. Background checks will be conducted on final candidates.

Compensation is based on experience. Benefits may be available based on plan and employment requirements, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) with company match, and paid time off. Ongoing training, guidance, and mentorship are also offered.

Requirements

• Comfort using computers, Zoom, or other video technology.
• Patient, organized, dependable, and encouraging approach.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently while also being part of a team.
• Have CHRC clearance or be willing to obtain it.
• Enjoy working with children and helping others.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist students during scheduled virtual therapy sessions.
• Set up computers, video calls, and audio equipment.
• Help students connect to and stay engaged in sessions.
• Escort students to and from sessions as needed.
• Communicate schedule changes or student absences to providers.
• Troubleshoot simple technology issues.
• Keep equipment clean, organized, and ready for use.
• Collaborate with school staff and Boothby's therapy team.
