About The Position

Boothby Therapy Services is hiring a part-time HyTech Facilitator for an onsite, school-based position in Calais, Maine. The role supports students during live, interactive virtual therapy sessions by helping them connect with licensed therapists and educators and ensuring sessions run smoothly. The facilitator creates a positive, welcoming environment but does not plan lessons, deliver therapy, or lead classroom instruction. The schedule is 15 hours per week across three days. The position is an immediate opening, and compensation is based on experience.

Requirements

• Enjoy working with children and helping others.
• Comfort using computers, Zoom, or other video technology.
• Be patient, organized, dependable, and encouraging.
• Have strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Be able to work independently while being part of a supportive team.
• Have CHRC clearance or be willing to obtain it.
• No teaching degree or therapy certification is required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with children is preferred.
• Experience in a school, childcare, education, or student support setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist students during scheduled virtual therapy sessions.
• Set up computers, video calls, and audio equipment.
• Help students connect and stay engaged during sessions.
• Escort students to and from sessions as needed.
• Communicate schedule changes or student absences to providers.
• Troubleshoot simple technology issues.
• Keep equipment clean, organized, and ready for use.
• Work collaboratively with school staff and Boothby's therapy team.
