About The Position

The F&B Server greets seated guests, presents menus and desserts, takes and enters orders using the micros system, answers questions about food, beverages, and promotions, and provides service throughout the dining experience. The server ensures meals are complete and delivered promptly, routes beverage orders through bartenders, checks tabs for accuracy, and opens bottled wine for guests. Additional duties include side work, bussing and setting tables, setting up and breaking down stations, assisting with takeout orders, seating guests, answering phones as needed, resolving guest complaints, and supporting other restaurant personnel.

Requirements

Past experience is preferred but not necessary.
Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
Must be able to stand and walk throughout a shift lasting up to 8 hours.
Excellent guest service skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Must be available to work a flexible shift, including weekends and holidays.
Food Handler Certification is required.

Responsibilities

Present menus and desserts at assigned tables, including menu highlights and themes.
Accurately take guest orders and enter them using the micros system.
Answer guest questions about food items, beverages, and special promotions.
Ensure meals and entrees are complete and delivered promptly.
Provide service throughout the guests' dining experience.
Place beverage orders through the bartenders.
Verify final tabs are correct before presenting checks.
Complete assigned side work.
Open bottled wine for guests.
Bus and set tables as needed.
Set up and break down stations such as deli, dessert, coffee, and espresso.
Assist with takeout orders as needed.
Seat guests and answer phones as business demands.
Prevent and resolve guest complaints.
Assist other restaurant personnel with tasks when necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned.
