Express Technician - Mercedes-Benz of Music City
About The Position
Mercedes-Benz of Music City is seeking an Express Technician to provide fast, efficient, and high-quality automotive repair and maintenance services. The technician performs routine inspections and repairs within a streamlined timeframe, helping ensure customer satisfaction and quick vehicle turnaround. The role works closely with service advisors and other team members to identify vehicle needs and communicate findings and recommended repairs or maintenance. The technician must follow safety regulations and manufacturer specifications, maintain vehicle performance and safety, and keep the work environment clean and organized, including proper handling and disposal of automotive fluids and parts. This is an in-person, full-time position in Nashville, Tennessee, with a four-day work week and a rotating schedule Monday through Saturday.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
- Proficiency in tire service, automotive repair, and vehicle maintenance.
- Ability to perform alignments and oil changes efficiently.
- Experience using hand tools and equipment in an automotive setting.
- At least 1 year of automotive repair experience.
- Ability to commute to Nashville, TN 37217; relocation there before starting work is required.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience as a Service Technician or in a similar role.
- At least 1 year of customer service experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform tire changes, oil changes, alignments, and other vehicle maintenance tasks.
- Conduct automotive repairs as needed.
- Use hand tools and equipment to complete service tasks.
- Provide customer service in a dealership setting.
- Perform heavy lifting when required.
- Communicate findings and recommended repairs or maintenance to service advisors.
- Ensure work complies with safety regulations and manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper handling and disposal of automotive fluids and parts.
