About The Position

The Service Valet/Porter keeps vehicles staged for service writers to complete service repair order write-ups and for service technicians to repair vehicles. The role also maintains cleanliness and readiness across the service lane, service drive, service department, and associated parking areas.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid in-state driver's license and an acceptable, safe driving record; must maintain safe driving habits when driving customer and company vehicles.
Be a team player with impeccable honesty and integrity.
Maintain a professional personal appearance and conduct.
Have proficient knowledge of tools and materials needed to perform departmental duties and support customer satisfaction.
Be eligible to work in the United States.

Some experience in an auto repair facility.

Responsibilities

Move vehicles to staging areas for service technicians.
Install floor mats and seat covers in vehicles and keep supplies stocked and ready for installation.
Put alignment hats on vehicles that fail alignment checks.
Keep the service lane clean and free of water, oil, and other fluids by sweeping and mopping.
Clean the service drive and ASM area daily.
Walk the service parking area and service-drive roadway to remove cigarette butts, trash, and other debris.
Walk the service department and lot to recover seat covers left in vehicles.
Vacuum the driver-side front floorboards of vehicles in the service drive.
Clean windows in the service drive and on all service-drive doors, including garage doors.
Check and restock night-drop envelopes daily as needed.
Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor.
