About The Position

Orem Mazda is hiring an Express Service Lube Technician to perform routine maintenance on customer vehicles and help the service department run smoothly. Previous lube technician experience is preferred but not required; candidates with a strong work ethic and interest in the automotive industry may be trained. The dealership provides training and educational programs to support employees’ ongoing development. Pre-employment screening, including background, drug, and motor vehicle record checks, is required.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Lube Technician is preferred but not required.
Basic knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance procedures.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Ability to pass a drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and other routine maintenance according to established procedures.
Inspect fluid levels, filters, belts, and hoses, and identify potential issues or concerns.
Complete vehicle inspections and accurately document findings in service records.
Keep the work area clean and organized and properly dispose of waste and used automotive fluids.
Work with technicians and service advisors to complete service jobs efficiently and on time.
Update knowledge and skills through dealership-provided training and educational programs.
