About The Position

Mazda of North Miami is seeking a Lube Service Technician to perform vehicle service and repairs in a rapid-growth, fast-paced dealership environment. The role includes completing repair orders efficiently, testing vehicles and components, diagnosing and repairing automotive systems, and communicating with Service Advisors about additional service needs and repair estimates. Warranty repairs must be completed to manufacturer specifications.

Requirements

• Strong automotive background.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Willingness to submit to a drug screen and background check.
• Clean and valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

• ASE certifications are ideal.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning systems.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor about additional service needs so customers can be informed.
• Provide an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.
