About The Position

AutoNation is hiring an Express Service Advisor to help customers with vehicle maintenance and repair needs. The role combines customer service, automotive knowledge, consultative sales, and technology to support safe vehicle operation and build customer loyalty. The advisor coordinates appointments, determines service needs, prepares transparent repair orders and estimates, and works with technicians and parts associates to support timely completion of service. Compensation is commission-based and estimated between $4,000 and $14,000 per month.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to follow up with customers.
• Experience and desire to work with technology.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable, safe driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Prior sales experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Set, confirm, and prepare for customer appointments.
• Meet or exceed targeted sales goals and customer satisfaction index targets.
• Greet customers in a friendly manner upon arrival.
• Determine vehicle needs using customer information, walk-arounds, inspections, and test drives.
• Use a consultative selling process to help customers plan ongoing required vehicle maintenance.
• Produce repair orders with transparent cost and time estimates.
• Communicate with technicians and parts associates to support timely completion of work.
• Update customers about vehicle status according to their preferred communication method.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Develop superior product knowledge to help customers effectively.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience that drives loyalty.
