About The Position

AutoNation is a large automotive retailer offering new and used vehicles, customer financing, parts, and maintenance and repair services. As an Express Service Advisor, you will help customers plan vehicle maintenance and repairs, use technology and automotive knowledge to identify service opportunities, and build customer loyalty. You will coordinate with technicians and parts associates, keep customers informed, and work to provide an exceptional service experience while meeting sales and customer satisfaction targets.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to follow up with customers.
• Experience and desire to work with technology.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable, safe driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Prior sales experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Set, confirm, and prepare for customer appointments.
• Meet or exceed targeted sales goals and customer satisfaction index goals.
• Greet customers in a friendly manner when they arrive.
• Determine vehicle needs using customer information, vehicle walk-arounds, inspections, and test drives.
• Use a consultative selling process to help customers plan ongoing required vehicle maintenance.
• Prepare customer repair orders with transparent cost and time estimates.
• Communicate with technicians and parts associates to support timely completion of work.
• Follow up with customers about vehicle status using their preferred method of communication.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Develop superior product knowledge to effectively assist customers.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
