About The Position

As an Express Service Advisor at AutoNation Ford Arapahoe, you will be part of a nationwide service team and help build lasting customer loyalty. You will use communication skills, automotive knowledge, and technology to identify service and maintenance needs and help keep customers’ vehicles safe. This is an on-site, commission-based position with average pay of $3,000–$9,000+ per month. The position is open until filled.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to follow up with customers.
• Experience and desire to work with technology.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable, safe driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Prior sales experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Set, confirm, and prepare for customer appointments to support a positive service experience.
• Meet or exceed targeted sales goals and customer satisfaction index targets.
• Greet customers in a friendly manner when they arrive.
• Determine vehicle needs using customer information, vehicle walk-arounds, inspections, and test drives.
• Use a consultative sales process to help customers plan ongoing required vehicle maintenance.
• Prepare customer repair orders, including cost and time estimates, with full transparency.
• Communicate frequently with technicians and parts associates to help ensure timely completion of work.
• Update customers on their vehicle’s status according to their preferred method of communication.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Develop superior product knowledge to effectively assist customers.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
