About The Position

As a Service Advisor at AutoNation Ford Arapahoe, you will join a nationwide team servicing 20,000 cars a day and help build lasting customer loyalty. You will use communication skills, automotive knowledge, and leading-edge technology to identify service opportunities that help keep customers safe in their vehicles. This is an on-site, commission-based position with average pay of $3,000–$9,000+ per month. The position will remain open until filled.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to follow up with customers.
• Experience and desire to work with technology.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and an acceptable, safe driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Prior sales experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Set, confirm, and prepare for customer appointments to support a positive service experience.
• Meet or exceed targeted sales goals and customer satisfaction index targets.
• Greet arriving customers in a friendly manner.
• Determine vehicle needs based on customer information, walk-arounds, inspections, and test drives.
• Use a consultative selling process to help customers plan ongoing required vehicle maintenance.
• Prepare customer repair orders, including transparent cost and time estimates.
• Communicate frequently with technicians and parts associates to support timely completion of work.
• Follow up with customers about vehicle status according to their preferred method of communication.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Build superior product knowledge to effectively assist customers.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
