Express Automotive Technician (Part-Time) - Nalley Lexus Roswell
About The Position
The Express Automotive Technician is an entry-level technician responsible for basic maintenance of customer vehicles. The role requires exceptional teamwork and the ability to perform repetitive tasks. This is an hourly paid, part-time position. Technicians perform oil changes, tire rotations, tire balancing, battery testing, routine vehicle inspections, and maintenance. They complete a multi-point inspection form for each vehicle and ensure customer vehicles are returned in the same or better condition than when received. The position also involves manufacturer- and management-assigned product and technical training, including participation in manufacturer-sponsored training, programs, and schools, and continued learning about new automotive technologies.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must have basic tools.
- Must pass pre-employment background and drug screening.
- Must have a positive attitude and be a team player.
Nice To Haves
- Automotive technical school certifications are preferred.
- Previous experience is highly preferred.
- Apprenticeship experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes, tire rotations, tire balancing, and battery testing.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance.
- Accurately complete the multi-point inspection form for each vehicle.
- Use product and technical training assigned by the manufacturer and management.
- Ensure customer vehicles are returned in the same condition or better than when brought in.
- Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training, programs, and schools.
- Continue expanding knowledge of new technologies and automotive practices.
