About The Position

Grubbs Family of Dealerships is seeking an Express Technician to perform quick-service maintenance and keep its express lane moving. The role is an opportunity for entry-level technicians and recent graduates to build skills and grow into more advanced technician positions. The work requires quick turnaround while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Compensation starts at $18.00 per flag hour, dependent on experience. Grubbs provides training and support, including paid training and manufacturer certification support.

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work efficiently without sacrificing quality.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Entry-level technicians and recent graduates are welcome; training is provided.
• Owning basic tools is a plus, or candidates should be willing to build a set.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, fluid services, filter replacements, and light maintenance to factory specifications.
• Complete thorough, honest multi-point inspections on every vehicle and document recommended services with photos or notes.
• Work with speed and precision to maintain quick turnaround times in the express lane.
• Communicate findings clearly and promptly to service advisors so they can present additional needed work.
• Follow safety, torque, and quality standards on every vehicle.
• Road-test vehicles when needed to confirm repairs and customer concerns.
• Keep the work bay, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and ready.
