The Position You will be part of the global Diagnostics Export Control & Sanctions Compliance Team. You will significantly contribute to ensuring the integrity of our worldwide activities and securing the distribution of vital diagnostic products to patients globally. This position is globally oriented and requires international interaction and expertise in multinational regulations. We are looking for a dedicated Export Control & Sanctions Manager to ensure regulatory compliance at Roche Diagnostics worldwide. Are you an experienced expert in Export Control & Sanctions, ready to tackle complex, global challenges and requirements in the field of medical devices and diagnostics?

Requirements

You have a completed university degree in law. Alternatively, a degree in business administration, preferably with a focus on supply chain, foreign trade/export.
You have at least 5 years of relevant experience in an international group with a focus on foreign trade, export control, or customs.
Experience in business partner screening is essential.
You possess deep, operational knowledge of complex international export control and sanctions regimes, particularly the regulations of the EU, US, CH, UK, and CN.
Negotiation-level proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is mandatory.
You have strong team and collaboration skills and can inspire and convince international stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

Experience in diagnostics, life sciences, or medical technology is a strong advantage.
German language skills at B2 level are an advantage.

Responsibilities

You will set guidelines and support the assurance of compliance worldwide.
You are responsible for the timely capture and implementation of export control law changes into internal policies and solutions.
Your focus is on the review of business partners in SAP GTS across divisions and worldwide.
You will develop and implement comprehensive, cross-divisional IT solutions, such as SAP GTS, to comply with export control requirements.
You will participate in the continuous development of cross-site export control processes. You will also be involved in the development of the internal export control audit program and conduct on-site audits in the affected business units.
You will plan internal training, design training materials, and conduct qualification measures. Naturally, you will be available as a technical advisor to the unit and engage in best practice sharing.
You will represent the company's interests to relevant authorities and associations.
