About The Position

Arrow McLaren is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Experiential and Partnerships Intern for the Spring semester of the 2027 season. The internship provides hands-on experience in motorsports, event marketing, sponsorships, and relationship management. The intern will support Arrow McLaren’s marketing goals and work on-site at the McLaren Racing Center in Indianapolis. The schedule is up to 20 hours per week during the spring semester and 40 hours per week after the semester concludes through May 31, 2027. On-site availability during May and Indy 500 activities is required. The work may occasionally require evening or weekend support. The internship runs from January 13 to May 31, 2027, and candidates must be eligible to receive college credit. The selected candidate must pass a background check and have transportation to facilitate tasks around Indianapolis, such as item drop-offs.

Requirements

Must be eligible to receive college credit for the internship.
Must be majoring in Sports Management, Event Management, Marketing, or a related Business degree.
Strong interest in sports.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Team player with a positive attitude.
Willingness to learn and seek opportunities to gain experience or support the team, regardless of the task.
Available to work on-site in Indianapolis up to 20 hours per week during the spring semester and 40 hours per week after the semester concludes, from January 13 to May 31, 2027.

Responsibilities

Support processing, distribution, organization, and inventorying of the 2027 team apparel line.
Support event coordination, hospitality planning, and partner engagement for key INDYCAR races and other potential events and experiences.
Help book, communicate, and fulfill experiential asset requests, including showcar, simulator, and display assets.
Assist with ticket management, including premium packaging and distribution of Arrow McLaren assets.
Support the development and maintenance of partner-related presentations, proposals, and recaps.
Maintain departmental integrations and details in Salesforce, including hospitality and asset management tools.
Collaborate with marketing, communications, and operations teams to support successful activations and experiences.
Collaborate and contribute to vendor, property, and partner meetings.
Track and report hospitality assets, ensuring inventories and feedback are communicated and acted upon as required.
Maintain awareness of sponsorship and market trends, including activities by Arrow McLaren corporate partners and their competitors in other markets and professional teams.
