About The Position

HyPro is hiring experienced CNC machinists for its second- and third-shift team. The second shift runs from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.; the third shift runs from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. The role involves operating CNC machinery, performing follow-up work on parts, documenting quality inspections, and maintaining a safe and orderly work area. Requirements

• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required duties.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• High school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

• One or more years of prior CNC machining experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Properly and safely load and unload castings and raw materials.
• Perform minor machine offsets and tool changes.
• Perform follow-up operations such as deburring, polishing, grinding, and preparing parts for shipping.
• Use gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements.
• Document quality assurance inspections.
• Work with necessary contacts to define project lists and priorities.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
