About The Position

HyPro is seeking experienced CNC machinists to join its second- and third-shift team. The second shift runs from 3 pm to 11 pm, and the third shift runs from 11 pm to 7 am. The role involves operating CNC machinery, handling castings and raw materials, completing minor machine adjustments and tool changes, performing follow-up finishing work, and meeting quality and safety requirements. HyPro is a family-owned and operated company that has been in business since 1969.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of prior CNC machining experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Properly and safely load and unload castings and raw materials.
• Make minor machine offsets and tool changes.
• Perform follow-up operations such as deburring, polishing, grinding, and preparing parts for shipping.
• Use gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements.
• Document quality assurance inspections.
• Work with necessary contacts to define project lists and priorities.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
