Experienced Fine Dining Server
About The Position
Greensboro Country Club is hiring fine dining servers for its high-end restaurant in the Greensboro, North Carolina area. The restaurant serves dinner Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, with additional hours available for events and other on-site restaurants. Servers create memorable experiences for members and guests by greeting them warmly and professionally, providing knowledgeable menu recommendations, anticipating needs, responding promptly to requests, and checking on satisfaction. They also keep tables and the dining room clean and organized and perform the opening and closing duties required for their shift.
Requirements
- Excellent people skills and an outgoing personality.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods.
- A positive, can-do attitude, quick learning ability, and capacity to become highly knowledgeable about the menu.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a professional presentation.
- Friendliness and ability to build connections with others.
- Teamwork and a strong work ethic.
Nice To Haves
- Previous fine dining experience is preferred.
- Country club and/or restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Greet members by name and make them feel welcome.
- Recommend menu items and demonstrate expertise about the food and menu.
- Anticipate member and guest needs and provide excellent, prompt customer service.
- Check back with guests and members to ensure satisfaction.
- Keep tables and the dining room clean and organized.
- Perform opening and closing duties for the assigned shift.
