About The Position

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a meticulous, analytical Quality Internal Auditor to join its Quality & Reliability team. The role is responsible for helping ensure site processes comply with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards. The auditor executes and reports internal audits across the Quality Management System, including monitoring, analysis, improvement, customer, manufacturing, and support processes. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to turn audit findings into actionable recommendations and follow through on corrective actions, supporting product quality, reliability, and a compliant, customer-centric manufacturing culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or Physics.
• ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 Lead Auditor certification.
• Understanding of Automotive Core Tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC.
• At least 3 years of experience in Quality.
• Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, techniques, and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits of the Quality Management System, products, and processes, documenting nonconformities and communicating findings to relevant departments.
• Support site execution of the annual ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 external audit.
• Promote awareness of ISO and IATF standards across the site through a task force team (TFT).
• Maintain organized and accurate records of quality activities.
• Stay current with industry regulations and standards and help ensure the company remains compliant.
• Translate audit findings into actionable recommendations and follow through on corrective actions.
