About The Position

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a meticulous, analytical Quality Internal Auditor to join its Quality & Reliability team. The role is responsible for ensuring site processes comply with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards. The auditor will execute and report on internal audits across the Quality Management System, including monitoring, analysis, improvement, customer, manufacturing, and support processes. The work contributes to product quality and reliability and to the effectiveness of the site's compliance framework. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to translate audit findings into actionable recommendations and follow through on corrective actions to support a high-quality, compliant, customer-centric manufacturing culture.

The position is full-time and on-site. Base salary is $95,000–$120,000, with compensation depending on duties, location, education, skills, qualifications, and experience. The total compensation package includes benefits and may include participation in incentive compensation programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or Physics.
• ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 Lead Auditor certification.
• Understanding of Automotive Core Tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC.
• At least 3 years of experience in Quality.
• Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, techniques, and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Quality Management System, product, and process internal audits; document nonconformities and communicate findings to relevant departments.
• Support the site's annual ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 external audit.
• Promote awareness of ISO and IATF standards across the site through a task force team.
• Maintain organized and accurate records of quality activities.
• Stay current with industry regulations and standards and help ensure the company remains compliant.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate audit findings into recommendations and follow through on corrective actions.
