About The Position

The Experienced Bike Mechanic assembles bikes, diagnoses equipment issues, and performs repairs as needed. The mechanic provides customers with a high level of service and recommends products to enhance their cycling experience. The role also supports ski tuning and repair work; knowledge of snow sports tuning and repair is described as ideal. This is a year-round, full-time position.

Requirements

2–3 years of bike mechanic experience.
Ability to stand for long periods, operate hand and power tools, and lift and carry bikes, parts, and other equipment.
Ability to communicate fluently in English.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

Perform quality repairs on customer bikes, including walk-in repairs and overhauls.
Support ski tuning and repair work.
Diagnose customer equipment and provide repair estimates.
Schedule customer appointments and communicate clear, realistic expectations.
Recommend products to enhance customers’ cycling experiences.
Apply advanced knowledge of bike repair practices and procedures.
Complete service paperwork legibly and accurately, and file it accordingly.
Perform other duties as assigned.
