About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Experienced Auto Painter for its Hutchins, Texas location. The role involves painting vehicles using base coats, tri-coats, solid, metallic, and clear coats; blending adjacent panels; and correcting paint. Painters work in a high-tech vehicle Inspection Center using state-of-the-art tools to prepare vehicles for customers. The position offers a $6,000 sign-on bonus, competitive wages, and company perks. Candidates must have at least five years of professional automotive painting experience. Employment is contingent on passing a background check, and the role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 5 years of professional automotive painting experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a motor vehicle records check.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
Use of required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Passing a complete background check.
