About The Position
Carvana is hiring an Auto Painter for its Hutchins, Texas operation. In this mid-level painting role, the employee matches and mixes paint colors and uses water-based paint to paint vehicles inside paint booths. The role is based in a high-tech vehicle inspection and reconditioning center and offers a $4,000 sign-on bonus. The position requires at least three years of professional automotive painting experience. Employees must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment and may be required to work mandatory overtime based on business needs. Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check, and the role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional automotive painting experience.
- Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Possess a valid driver's license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive heat or cold.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Must pass a complete background check.
