About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Experienced Auto Painter for its West Memphis location. The role involves preparing vehicles to meet Carvana’s standards before they are offered to customers. The painter is expected to have advanced automotive painting skills, including applying base coats, tri-coats, solid, metallic, and clear coats; blending adjacent panels; and paint correcting vehicles. The position offers a competitive wage, a $6,000 bonus, and access to state-of-the-art tools at a high-tech Inspection Center. Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 5 years of professional automotive painting experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must pass a complete background check.

Responsibilities

Apply base coats, tri-coats, solid, metallic, and clear coats to vehicles.
Blend adjacent panels.
Paint correct vehicles.
Help ensure vehicles are in first-rate condition before they reach Carvana customers.
Work mandatory overtime when required by business needs.
