About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Advanced Auto Painter to work in one of its high-tech vehicle Inspection Centers. The role involves painting vehicles and requires advanced automotive painting skills, including applying base coats, tri-coats, solid, metallic, and clear coats; blending adjacent panels; and paint correcting vehicles. The posting requires at least five years of professional automotive painting experience. The position is in a fast-paced, changing production environment that may involve exposure to excessive heat or cold. Employees must use appropriate safety equipment and be able to operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs.

Requirements

At least 5 years of professional automotive painting experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age.
Possess a valid driver’s license; some positions may require a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
Ability to use safety equipment that may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must pass a complete background check.
