About The Position
Atlantic Coast Enterprises is hiring an experienced Auto Mechanic / Automotive Technician for its Miami, Florida area team. This is a full-time role with a five-day work week. The technician maintains and repairs vehicles, diagnoses mechanical problems, explains repair options to customers, and completes agreed-upon repairs. The role also includes performing regular maintenance services and delivering fast, friendly, professional customer service. Compensation is a non-flat-rate hourly wage of $18–$24, depending on experience and certifications. Technicians may also earn commissions paid every two weeks, ranging from $400 to $1,400 and based on store-level automotive repair net sales. Hourly pay and commissions can lead to annual compensation above $100,000. Employees can earn one-time $500 bonuses for certifications obtained while employed.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old.
- Current AATI or ASE certifications.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Brake work experience.
- Must have personal tools.
- Honest and reliable, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Service-oriented and attentive to detail.
- Able to troubleshoot and explain technical information in layman’s terms.
