About The Position
Atlantic Coast Enterprises is hiring an experienced Auto Mechanic / Automotive Technician for a full-time position in the Miami Shores, Florida area. The role offers a five-day work week and hourly pay rather than flat-rate pay. The hourly rate is $18–$24, depending on experience and certifications. Technicians also earn commissions every two weeks, ranging from $400 to $1,400 and based on store-level automotive repair net sales. Hourly pay and commissions may lead to annual compensation above $100,000. Employees can earn one-time $500 bonuses for certifications obtained while employed by the company. The technician maintains and repairs customer vehicles, diagnoses mechanical problems, explains repair options, and completes approved repairs. The role also provides regular vehicle maintenance while delivering fast, friendly, and professional customer service. Atlantic Coast Enterprises is a full-service lubrication, fluid, and automotive maintenance center. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Hold current AATI or ASE certifications.
- Have a valid driver's license.
- Have brake work experience.
- Have your own tools.
- Be honest and reliable, able to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively, service-oriented and attentive to detail, and able to troubleshoot and explain technical information in layman's terms.
Responsibilities
