Experienced Auto Mechanic / Automotive Technician
About The Position
Atlantic Coast Enterprises is hiring an experienced Auto Mechanic / Automotive Technician for its Murrells Inlet, South Carolina area team. This full-time position follows a 5-day work week and offers an hourly rate rather than flat-rate pay. Compensation ranges from $18 to $24 per hour depending on experience and certifications. Technicians also earn commissions every two weeks based on store-level automotive repair net sales; commissions range from $400 to $1,400. Hourly pay and commissions may result in annual compensation above $100,000. Employees can receive a one-time $500 bonus for each certification earned while employed by the company. The technician maintains and repairs customer vehicles, diagnoses mechanical issues, explains repair options, and completes agreed-upon work. The role also performs regular vehicle maintenance and supports a fast, friendly, clean, and professional customer experience. Atlantic Coast Enterprises is a full-service lubrication, fluid, and automotive maintenance center and a franchisee in the Jiffy Lube network. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Hold current AATI or ASE certifications.
- Have a valid driver’s license.
- Have brake work experience.
- Have your own tools.
- Be honest and reliable.
- Be able to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Be service-oriented and attentive to detail.
- Enjoy troubleshooting and be able to explain technical information in layman’s terms.
