Experienced Auto Mechanic / Automotive Technician
About The Position
Atlantic Coast Enterprises is hiring a full-time Experienced Auto Mechanic / Automotive Technician in the Conway, South Carolina area. The role offers a five-day work week and an hourly, non-flat-rate wage of $18 to $24, depending on experience and certifications. Technicians also earn commissions paid every two weeks, ranging from $400 to $1,400 and based on store-level automotive repair net sales. Hourly pay and commissions may result in annual compensation above $100,000. Employees can earn a one-time $500 bonus for certifications earned while employed by the company. The technician maintains and repairs customer vehicles, diagnoses mechanical problems, explains repair options clearly, and completes agreed-upon work. The role also performs regular maintenance services and supports a fast, friendly, clean, and professional customer experience. Atlantic Coast Enterprises is a full-service lubrication, fluid, and automotive maintenance center. Requirements
- At least 18 years old.
- Current AATI or ASE certifications.
- Valid driver's license.
- Brake work experience.
- Must have personal tools.
- Honesty and reliability.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Service-oriented approach and attention to detail.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Ability to explain technical information in layman's terms.
