About The Position

Atlantic Coast Enterprises is hiring a full-time Experienced Auto Mechanic / Automotive Technician in the Ft. Lauderdale, Florida area. The position offers a five-day work week and hourly, non-flat-rate pay of $18 to $24, depending on experience and certifications. Technicians also earn commissions every two weeks based on store-level automotive repair net sales, typically ranging from $400 to $1,400. Hourly pay and commissions may result in annual compensation above $100,000. Employees can earn one-time $500 bonuses for certifications obtained while employed by the company. The technician maintains and repairs customer vehicles, diagnoses mechanical problems, explains repair options, completes agreed-upon work, and provides regular vehicle maintenance. The role also includes delivering fast, friendly service and helping customers have a positive experience. Requirements

At least 18 years old.
Current AATI or ASE certifications.
Valid driver’s license.
Brake work experience.
Must have own tools.
Honesty and reliability.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Service-oriented approach and attention to detail.
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
Ability to explain technical information in layman’s terms.

Responsibilities
