About The Position

Atlantic Coast Enterprises is hiring a full-time Experienced Auto Mechanic / Automotive Technician in the Tampa, Florida area. This role has a five-day work week and pays an hourly rate of $18 to $24, depending on experience and certifications, rather than flat rate. Technicians also earn commissions every two weeks, ranging from $400 to $1,400 and based on store-level automotive repair net sales. Hourly pay and commissions may result in annual compensation above $100,000. Technicians can earn one-time $500 bonuses for certifications earned while employed by the company. The technician maintains and repairs customer vehicles, diagnoses mechanical problems, explains repair options, performs agreed-upon repairs, and provides routine maintenance. The role emphasizes fast, friendly, professional service and creating a positive customer experience. Requirements

At least 18 years old.
Current AATI or ASE certifications.
Valid driver's license.
Brake work experience.
Must have own tools.
Able to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Service-oriented and attentive to detail.
Able to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
Able to explain technical information in layman's terms.
Honest and reliable.
