About The Position

Atlantic Coast Enterprises is hiring a full-time Experienced Auto Mechanic / Automotive Technician in the Pembroke Pines, Florida area. The role involves diagnosing and repairing vehicles, explaining repair options to customers, completing agreed-upon repairs, and providing regular maintenance. Technicians are expected to deliver fast, friendly, professional service and help customers have a positive experience.

The position offers a five-day work week and hourly pay of $18–$24, depending on experience and certifications, rather than flat-rate pay. Technicians also earn commissions paid every two weeks, ranging from $400 to $1,400 based on store-level automotive repair net sales. Hourly compensation and commissions may lead to annual compensation above $100,000. Employees can receive one-time $500 bonuses for certifications earned while employed.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Current AATI or ASE certifications.
• Valid driver's license.
• Brake work experience.
• Must have their own tools.
• Honesty and reliability.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Service-oriented approach and attention to detail.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Ability to explain technical information in layman's terms.
