About The Position
Atlantic Coast Enterprises is hiring a full-time Experienced Auto Mechanic / Automotive Technician in the Ft. Lauderdale, Florida area. The role offers a five-day work week and hourly pay of $18 to $24, depending on experience and certifications, rather than flat-rate pay. Technicians earn commissions every two weeks based on store-level automotive repair net sales, typically ranging from $400 to $1,400. Hourly compensation and commissions may result in annual compensation above $100,000. Employees can also earn one-time $500 bonuses for certifications earned while employed. The technician diagnoses vehicle problems, explains repair options to customers, completes agreed-upon repairs, and provides regular maintenance services. The position emphasizes accurate work, fast and friendly service, customer care, and contributing to a positive customer experience. Atlantic Coast Enterprises (ACE) is a full-service lubrication, fluid, and automotive maintenance center. Requirements
- At least 18 years old.
- Current AATI or ASE certifications.
- Valid driver's license.
- Brake work experience.
- Must have own tools.
- Honesty and reliability.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Service orientation and attention to detail.
- Ability to troubleshoot.
- Ability to explain technical information in layman's terms.
Responsibilities
