About The Position

Atlantic Coast Enterprises is hiring a full-time, experienced Auto Mechanic / Automotive Technician in the Miami, Florida area. The position has a five-day work week and pays an hourly rate of $18 to $24, depending on experience and certifications, rather than flat-rate pay. Technicians also earn commissions paid every two weeks, ranging from $400 to $1,400 based on store-level automotive repair net sales. Hourly pay and commissions may result in annual compensation above $100,000. Employees can earn one-time bonuses of $500 for certifications earned while employed by the company.

The technician maintains and repairs customers’ vehicles, diagnoses mechanical problems, explains repair options, and completes agreed-upon repairs. The role also performs regular vehicle maintenance and supports a fast, friendly, clean, and professional customer experience. The position is based in the Miami, Florida area, at location 33157.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Current AATI or ASE certifications.
• Valid driver's license.
• Brake work experience.
• Must have own tools.
• Honesty and reliability, effective task prioritization and time management, attention to detail, troubleshooting ability, and the ability to explain technical information in layman's terms.
