Experienced Auto Mechanic / Automotive Technician
About The Position
Atlantic Coast Enterprises (ACE) is hiring a full-time, experienced Auto Mechanic / Automotive Technician in the Pompano Beach, Florida area. The role offers a five-day work week and competitive hourly pay rather than flat-rate pay. The hourly rate is $18–$24, depending on experience and certifications. Technicians also earn commissions every two weeks, ranging from $400 to $1,400 and based on store-level automotive repair net sales. Hourly pay and commissions may result in annual compensation above $100,000. Technicians can receive a one-time $500 bonus for certifications earned while employed by the company. The technician maintains and repairs customers’ vehicles, diagnoses mechanical problems, explains repair options, completes agreed-upon repairs, and provides regular maintenance services. The role also involves delivering fast, friendly, professional customer service and helping customers have a positive experience. ACE is a full-service lubrication, fluid, and automotive maintenance center. Requirements
- At least 18 years old.
- Current AATI or ASE certifications.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Brake work experience.
- Must have own tools.
- Honesty and reliability.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Service orientation and attention to detail.
- Ability to troubleshoot.
- Ability to explain technical information in layman’s terms.
Responsibilities
