About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Experienced Auto Body Repair Technician to perform bodywork on multiple vehicle panels at a high-tech Inspection Center. The work includes heavy plastic welding, minor metal pulling, roof and rocker panel repair, and large-area, heavy bodywork, including Bondo repair. The role requires at least three years of professional automotive bodywork experience. The position offers an hourly pay range of $25–$33 and a $4,000 sign-on bonus. Team members may be required to work mandatory overtime when business needs require it. The work takes place in a fast-paced, changing production environment and can involve exposure to excessive heat or cold. Hiring is contingent on passing a background check; the role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 3 years of professional automotive bodywork experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age.
Possess a valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Pass a complete background check.
