About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Auto Body Repair Technician to perform light bodywork on vehicles at a high-tech Inspection Center in Rocklin, California. The work includes prepping, sanding, and buffing vehicles; removing and installing bumpers; minor plastic welding; and small-area bodywork, including Bondo repair. The posting describes this as an entry-level prep role and says training programs are available to support skill and pay progression.

The role is part of Carvana’s vehicle reconditioning process, in which vehicles are inspected, repaired, and prepared before being photographed and listed for sale. Applicants must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment and may sometimes be exposed to excessive heat or cold. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs.

Applicants must be at least 18, hold a valid driver’s license, and be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional automotive bodywork experience.
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Pass a complete background check.
