About The Position

The Expeditor joins the Food and Beverage team at Nobu, Grand Wailea, a Waldorf Astoria Resort. The role supports dining outlet service by coordinating food orders between servers and the kitchen, monitoring ticket times, and ensuring dishes meet quality and presentation standards before they are served. The Expeditor maintains an organized, clean, and stocked station, collaborates with colleagues across teams, addresses order issues to support guest satisfaction, and follows applicable health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate communication between servers and the kitchen to ensure guest food orders are processed accurately and on time.
• Monitor ticket times and follow up with the culinary team to support prompt delivery of food orders.
• Garnish and inspect dishes before serving to ensure quality and presentation standards are met.
• Keep the expediting station clean, organized, and well-stocked.
• Work with servers, culinary staff, and other departments to support efficient service and a positive, productive work environment.
• Proactively address order issues to support guest satisfaction and service excellence.
• Comply with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations.
