About The Position

Urban Egg is seeking an experienced and motivated Expeditor to help ensure smooth, efficient restaurant operations. The Expeditor is the central communication hub between the kitchen and servers and plays a key role in providing excellent operations. This is a tipped position with an hourly wage of $17.27 plus tips. Urban Egg describes its restaurants as clean, inviting, positive, and welcoming, with an elevated breakfast, brunch, and lunch experience featuring locally sourced ingredients and open-kitchen layouts.

Requirements

Prior kitchen experience in a full-service restaurant.
Strong communication skills.
Comfort working in a fast-paced environment.

Team-oriented approach and willingness to help wherever needed.
Daytime and weekend availability.

Responsibilities

Check that kitchen orders have been properly prepared.
Add necessary garnishes or condiments to dishes.
Understand and follow company policy for guest preferences and allergies.
Communicate meal timing with the kitchen.
Communicate with servers during guests’ visits.
Keep service flowing and get orders delivered to tables as quickly as possible.
Monitor food safety and the temperature of food being delivered to guests.
Respond to guest requests at the table quickly and with a smile.
