About The Position

Urban Egg is seeking an experienced and motivated Expeditor to support the smooth and efficient flow of restaurant operations. The Expeditor serves as the central communication hub between the kitchen and servers and helps ensure operational excellence. This is a tipped position offering an hourly wage. Urban Egg describes its restaurants as clean, inviting, positive, and welcoming, with an elevated breakfast, brunch, and lunch experience. The role requires daytime and weekend availability.

Requirements

Prior kitchen experience in a full-service restaurant.

Responsibilities

Ensure kitchen orders have been properly prepared.
Add necessary garnishes or condiments to dishes.
Understand and follow company policy for guest preferences and allergies.
Communicate with the kitchen about meal timing.
Communicate with servers during guests’ visits.
Keep orders flowing and get them delivered to tables as quickly as possible.
Monitor food safety and the temperature of food delivered to guests.
Manage guest requests at the table quickly and with a smile.
